Privacy policy
Your privacy and anonymity sit at the core of how we operate. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).
1. Who we are
Hong Kong Assignment Help ("we", "us", "our") provides academic writing and editing support to students in Hong Kong, and is the data user responsible for the personal data described here. Reach us at hello@hongkongassignmenthelp.com or 18/F, Tower 2, Admiralty Centre, 18 Harcourt Road, Admiralty, Hong Kong.
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to deliver your order: a name or pseudonym and a WhatsApp number or email; order details (course code, tier, university, word count, deadline, referencing style, and any files you share); payment confirmation (we never store full card details — these are handled by encrypted gateways such as FPS, PayMe, AlipayHK and card processors); and basic technical analytics (see our Cookies Policy). You may use a pseudonym throughout, and we never require your university portal login.
3. Why we use it
We process your data to prepare your quote and complete your order (performance of a contract), to operate, secure and improve our service (legitimate interest), with your consent for optional analytics and marketing, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
4. How we share it
We never sell your data. Your brief is shared only with the assigned writer, who sees the task — not your identity. We use a small number of trusted processors (payment gateways, secure file storage) bound by confidentiality. We never register your work to Turnitin’s repository or share profiles with institutional servers.
5. How long we keep it
We retain order data only as long as needed to deliver your work, honour the 30-day revision window, and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion once an order is complete.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPO you have the right to access and correct your personal data, and to ask how it is used. To exercise these rights, email hello@hongkongassignmenthelp.com. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), Hong Kong.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and confidentiality agreements with every team member. Your identity, files and payment trails are permanently encrypted.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
